Picking Strawberries Near our Hotel

Samoeng district is famous in Thailand for its strawberry fields, you can visit these fields and take your time picking your own strawberries while enjoying the surrounding mountains. Strawberry picking season in Chiang Mai is from November to March, which is our winter season. Here are a few strawberry fields that you can visit:

1. Wong Wan Strawberry Field

One of the largest strawberry farms in Chiang Mai, Wong Wan Strawberry Field prides themselves as an organic farm. Here you can walk along the plants and pick your own strawberries for a fee. You can also take a meal at their restauant which offers a menu with strawberries incorporated throughout all the dishes. If you are interested in growing some strawberries of your own, they also sell young strawberry plants. They also sell OTOP products, "One Tambon* One Product" - (*Tambon means 'sub-district'), a concept that helps promote local economy by having each Tambon offer a local unique product of their sub-district. You can support the local villagers by purchasing these products.

The field is open all year round so you can visit anytime you want.
